Bachalpsee Hike

Make the quintessentially Alpine scene of Lake Bachalpsee yours! An altitude of 2,265 meters, reflective waters, grassy banks and mountain backdrop is waiting for you.

During this 2-hour hike, you will be taken on a short walk at the First mountain, right opposite the Eiger, a striking peak famous worldwide for its north face. Then a gondola ride up the mountain summit, at 2000 meters sea-level, will allow you to enjoy a breathtaking view of the peaks. Once at the top station, you will hike on an easy trail to the Bachalpsee and then back to First.

The panorama that stands out after the strenuous climb is awe-inspiring. In addition to the Bernese Alps view, the ascent is rewarded with pleasant single trails back to the valley.
