Inside the Darwin Centre, part of its 27 kilometres of shelving reveals remarkable treasures, including Archie, the 8.62-metre giant squid. Specimens collected by Charles Darwin himself connect past exploration with present-day research, as educators explain how today’s scientists continue to unlock the secrets of the natural world.
